LOOKING BACK ON THE TAMBOURINE MACHINE…
“July,1 2010 we released our first CD “Talking About Love” as Alex Addy & The Tambourine Machine. All original music with a unique sound and feel recorded by Folk n Roll. We began playing in local venues and the fans began to appreciate the shows we gave them. The band went through personnel changes, but the sound remained the same. We began to expand our fan base playing venues any where we could get gig and managed to stay busy. We continued to evolve and got down to basics as a trio. It was during this time that things began to gel. The strength of the personal and musical bonds began to form and solidify so much so that we changed our name to the Tambourine Machine. We also went back into the studio ( Treehouse Records) to record our second CD “The Tambourine Machine” which we are set to release, in association with racecarLOTTA records, on Feb. 15 at LMAO Comedy Club in our hometown of Paris, TX. We found our newest member Chris Lancaster while recording the CD. Embarking upon this next year we are excited about our prospects. We are anxious to present our energetic style of rock & roll to many more music fans and venues.
